CONSERVATION ARTS: AN EDUCATIONAL CONNECTION TO LIVING COLLECTIONS
We are currently seeking funds to continue and expand the program. This program could add a whole new layer to any zoo. Help move us forward by supporting our unique, live-animal approach!
We need people, space, equipment, raw materials, digital tools and professional services to add more animals for the 3D Scan Download page on our website. We also need funds to further develop educational programs, products, educational features for students and the wonderful zoo programs for the visually and physically disavantaged.
Conservation Arts' work with the Jacksonville Zoo is a model for Conservation Arts' work at any zoo. In return for access to a Living Collection, we share our program founder Tim Lawrence who will gladly travel and train zoo staff on site.
This is the building space that the Jacksonville Zoo has quite generously made available for the on-site hospital and field work, a very important staging area. Here we prepare for hospital sessions and make the original plaster alpha casts from the alginate molds. Tools, materials and work stations are in here. This space needs some upgrades and your contributions will help make them happen. Thank you.
* All donations are tax deductible and will go into the Conservation Arts Fund.
